Works in Progress

A series of swarms.  Hopefully to be completed soon, but not likely.

New Things

Here are a couple of newer ones.
The first two are me breaking in my tablet for the first time.
The second two are parts of a larger piece I'm working on.  Patience.  It's exciting, and it creeps me out.

Other Drawings

These were drawings from around the same time as the earlier stuff, though I only more recently got around to coloring some of them.  I've been thinking of redoing some of them, so there might be some repeats.

More of the same

More from the Europe collection.  Fuck these are old.

Classical-y Things

I went through a big classics/myths/art nouveau stage which happened to coincide with a trip to Europe.  I was really into Mucha at the time, so lots of my drawings had really dark outlines around them.  Some of these are from life, others from my brains.

Dinosaurs

I never really grew out of dinosaurs.  I still draw them obsessively.  Most of these are drawn from mounts in the Museum of Natural History, NY.  Another is an attempt at fleshing out a skeleton on photoshop.

Fatties

... been sifting through drawings for some time now, trying to decide what to add.  I figure I'll try to work by some sort of theme.  As promised, these first few sets are pretty old, and again, they are likely not, though may end up being, in any sort of chronological order.
First up will be fat people.  I find the huskier set to be endlessly fascinating subjects.  These were made at some point early in college.  I had initially started out with a children's story in mind based on this gentleman.  I did a bunch more drawings like this, essentially story-boarding the whole thing.  I can't find it, but I think by the last page he ended up a quadruple amputee.

Hello

Herein lies my birth into the world of --blogging.  It will most likely consist of drawings and photo trickery, old and new, in no particular order, and with no particular schedule in mind, as I've not a lot of time for new output these days.  I'll try not to pontificate too much, nor is there much on which I'd care to.
So, here is my introduction.  This is me:
(The painting in the back of the second pic is by a friend of mine.  Alas, he never picked up a brush again.)
